Wednesday July 15, 2015 - Murmansk, Russia

We got up about 8:30 and went for coffee.  We went to the Enrichment Lectures at 10 and 11 about Murmansk and Russia.  Both were educational and interesting.

We had lunch up on deck at the soup buffet which was nice for a cold day.

We watched a movie, Dr. Zhivago, in the cabin in the afternoon.  We sailed in to Murmansk, Russia for a “technical stop” supposedly to get the immigration stuff arranged (a pay off perhaps?) for our visit to Solovetsky Island.  Murmansk was a very industrial port and drab looking.  But we’ll be back here to tour in a couple of days.

We had dinner with Marilyn, Ivan, Michael Scott, and Roger in Compass Rose.  Then we went to see the Cirque L’Amour show again.  It was fabulous as usual.
