We docked early this morning in the Solovetsky Islands. Tim still not feeling 100% so we took it easy
this morning. We had coffee, read, then went
to an early lunch at the grill but we both had a tasteless fish sandwich that
wasn’t very good.
We met our tour to the Labyrinths on Zayatsky Island – Big
Rabbit Island. Due to the shallow depth,
the captain couldn’t move the ship closer so we had a long tender ride to the
island. It had a small church, large and
small labyrinths, and a wooden pathway that we followed around the island. It was a nice walk but cool. But why do some people come on these
tours? One woman was in a wheel chair,
one man had a walker, and one couple had a one year old baby. Why do they let them come?

It was a 30 minute tender ride back to the ship and Tim went
straight to bed. He’s sick but won’t go
to medical!
I met JC, Krysha, Ivan and Marilyn at 7 for drinks in
Voyager and we had dinner at 8. Tim had
room service.

Ray Solaire did a new puppet show at 9:30. It was really cute with lots of great puppets
including a Dixieland jazz band, Dolly Parton with ever-expanding boobs, and
other cute puppets.
I had one last glass of wine in Voyagers with the group and
then I went to bed. We saw a sunset
tonight for the first time in a while but that won’t last long.
The sun dipped down close to the horizon as we are further south, but we now head back north
Tim had a restless night coughing. He needs to go to the doctor on
Saturday. I woke up at 2:30 and it’s
light outside already.
