We got up about 9 and went to breakfast in the hotel restaurant. That was included in the room and the dining
room was packed with cruisers from Regent and Viking. I had oatmeal and fruit. I need to slow down on the eating. We had the concierge keep out bags and we set
out for the day.
We took a taxi to the Abba Museum. It was great fun with Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny
and Alli-Frid (now Frida). Such talent –
lots of memorabilia and just lots of fun.
A great museum and highly recommended.

We got an Uber back to the hotel. We retrieved our bags and took a taxi to the
ship, the Silver Seas Voyager by Regent which we sailed on last November and
December in the Indian Ocean. There were
several lines to get settled – first level passenger check-off, then security,
then room key issuance. It took much
longer than before. We are in suite 678
on the back of the ship. It seems to us
that there is more vibration and noise back here but we have a huge balcony,
part of which is covered. We have Rupesh
for our butler and Myleen as our stewardess.
We had lunch in the buffet while we waited for our cabin to
be ready. Our bags came quickly and we
unpacked. The suite has lots of room for
clothes on this ship as we have a walk-in closet. That went pretty easily.
After unpacking we had our bottle of champagne and celebrated
the Supreme Court ruling in favor of same-sex marriages. Yeah – at last we are legal in all of our
country – equal at last.
We watched the scenery as we left Stockholm Harbor and then we
went up on the deck to hear more of the commentary. It was quite chilly up on deck. It will take 3 hours to get out of the
harbor.
Back to Regent's Seven Seas Voyager - the same ship we sailed on last November-December

It took over 5 hours to sail out of Stockholm with lots of islands along the way.
We returned to the cabin at 6 and took a short nap. We then went for drinks in the Observation
Lounge where we met a couple from St. Simons Island, Georgia, Amanda and Jim
with their granddaughter, Elizabeth.
Observation Lounge is our favorite as it has a view of where the ship is
going. We finally left the channel from
Stockholm after sailing past islands for about 3 hours and we headed out into
the Baltic. We are headed due east to
Tallinn, Estonia.
I had checked with the maître d’ earlier when we got on the
ship to confirm our specialty restaurant reservations and was able to get an
extra one for tonight. So we had dinner
in the French restaurant, Signatures. It
was delicious – escargot and haddock. I
also had the cheese course instead of dessert – maybe I should do that more
often! We went back to Observations for
an after dinner drink and then to bed.
It was only when we got back to the cabin that we realized we were losing
an hour tonight. So instead of 11:30 pm
it was 12:30 am! Whoops – off to bed.
